SHIPPING POLICY
UK DELIVERY
We ship with Royal Mail Tracked 48 for standard UK deliveries. Allow 2-3 working days for delivery of your order.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available for UK orders placed before 2.00pm GMT.
Working days are classed as Monday to Friday and do not include weekends or bank holidays.
For orders over 4kg we use Parcelforce.
Please be aware that Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery may not be available for remote regions of the UK such as, but not limited to, the Scottish Highlands.
Any orders placed after 2.00pm GMT between Friday to Sunday will be dispatched the following working day.
When shipping to UK addresses classed as ‘offshore’ (such as but not limited to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) we reserve the right to use the most efficient shipping methods available to us at that time.
EUROPEAN & INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
For all European and international orders, we utilise the services of Royal Mail and Parcelforce.
Orders are usually received within 3-10 working days, depending on delivery location.
Chakao Ltd reserves the right to use the most efficient shipping methods available to us at that time.
DUTIES & LOCAL TAXES
As we are based in the UK, if we ship to a country where duties or local taxes are payable these responsibilities lie with the customer. Please note that any associated duties are not included in the cost of the items purchased. Please note that as of 1st January 2021 this includes the EU and Ireland.
We do not accept any responsibility for duties or taxes incurred by the customer when shipping outside the UK.
STANDARD TERMS OF DELIVERY
In the unlikely event that you have not received your order within the specified timeframe, please refer to your tracking information and reach out to Royal Mail or Parcelforce for more information. If you are unable to resolve directly with either company. please contact us urgently and we will do our best to resolve.
Please be aware that it is the customers sole responsibility to notify us about lost items within 7 days of dispatch.
All customers are obliged to comply with Royal Mail or Parcelforce claim and compensation process – failure to comply with these processes will result in no refund being issued.
Please ensure your delivery details are kept up to date as Chakao Ltd will have no liability for any orders posted to the wrong location.
Chakao Ltd will have no liability in regards to any failure to deliver ordered goods that relates to events and circumstances outside of our control including but not limited to, floods, fire, explosion, strikes, industrial disputes, network access and accidents.
